The journey to PAPER NOT FOIL began with the realisation that an average salon used up to 2 km of aluminium foil per month!
The desire to find a sustainable solution was born. The development process began with endless tests, failures, research and finally a breakthrough with our reusable ‘papersheets’, which are not made of paper at all, but of calcium carbonate and edible resin. The raw material is a by-product of the construction industry and is completely harmless from a biological point of view. PAPER NOT FOIL has a more manageable surface and does not slip off the head during application.
PAPER NOT FOIL is also degradable without residue and can be reused several times. The sheets are easy to cut and can be cleaned by hand or in the washing machine (without detergent) up to 5 times.
Thanks to the porosity of the material, the hair can ‘breathe’ during the colouring process and is thus protected without compromising the result. And the price of PAPER NOT FOIL is also attractive, i.e. comparable to that of aluminium, because sustainability does not have to be a luxury!
